Life flirts with beauty
a time for flowers to flaunt

rain drops hit still pond
surface ripples spread outward
tickling frog bellies

Luminescent lights
bouncing through the nighttime air;
fireflies, in my yard.

silver spray soaking
shell scattered sandy shoreline  ~
squally sea subsides

summer ‘cats-and-dogs’ weather
monsoon season comes

winter's cold water
stained brown runs swollen away....
solid gray clouds hang  

brooding clouds
suffocate the sunset--
lightning flickers

Constantly fretting

lost in deep fog of caring

worrying hides faith

tornado
on the plain
eats voraciously
cattle stampede

winter’s last gasp
bone chilling loneliness ....
warm scent of your coat

2nd lover

reaching across miles
sending balmy loving thoughts
returning with spring
distance of  no consequence
cold weather unimportant

tight upon mucadines' trellis...
winter's bullace grape  

Pigs flying through  air
A barn falls swiftly to  earth
Tornado goes away

dark clouds brewing
rolling thunder, lightning strikes
     stormy afternoon

white snow is pretty 
winter weather very cold 
snow people marching

Warm temperature
During November day time 
Cold air in the nights

shade moves down the bench
   I shift my seat to stay warm ~
           the cloud finds me yet

a change of weather
as i remove my sweater
and put on my socks

as snow melting to spring sun
time and weather shift

mountainous sea ride 
captains against natures wrath 
man and nature emerge

icy spurs on window panes
windy stars whipping by
appaloosa skies

fallen flowers furl
leaf paintings fill the weather ---
perplexed butterflies
