nature made her decisions:
disaster rained down…

The water rose—
Life sank beneath the level;
hope floated above…

Like Noah, we wait…
flooding water standing still—
Vultures roost on wires.

I am the river
not this bucket of water 
attached to a rope

sung buddhist prayers
released afloat spring rivers
    a skyward mist

    monster 'neath the waves

Dancing on water,
With swirls of blissful motion;

flowing to niagara  ~
awesome waterfall  ~

thrashing cold water
a fish leaps... 
embraced by the sun

Still water surface
Casting back painted sketches
Of nature’s muses

Auf stillem Wasser
So im sanften Mondlicht
Der Ruf der Unken


On quiet water
There in the gentle moonlight
The call of the toads


De agua tranquilo
En suave luz de la luna
Los gritod de sapos

soft flowing liquid
clear and crisp living water
running through the Earth

Solitary shine
