in the bliss of blooms
in the richness of old gold
chattering I hear

day of fresh breezes
in luxurious summer
brookside in fragrance

starry-eyed starling
his song carried by the wind
a romantic dream

bending tree branches 
each little flower smile-filled ---
spirit romantic 

earth is green covered
no kernel of mud is seen ---
crickets stridulate 

green arches of trees
stand welcoming the sunbeams ---
grasshoppers concert

A dream on my mind.
A far distant memory.
A smile on my lips.

	by warm candlelight
	a strand of pearls gently falls 
	across her bare breasts

Haiku for frangipani in bloom:

nocturnal bouquet 
of frangipani in bloom –
olfactory fruits

teasing aromas
adorning a young girls hair – 
swaying moonlit palms

moths seeking nectar
flutter, flower to flower – 
new buds at sunrise.

Smiling Sakura
blows kisses to Bush Warbler
Dreams of distant love

pink gladiolus
given as a remembrance
in romantic noon

your liquid smile flows
from those soft cherry pink lips
tender as peaches 

your sweetness is like
a delicious projection
of all that you are

when I follow your
twinned dancing orbs, am I lost,
or have I been found?

Death eternal rest
Eyes forever veiled from thee
Love, Again we meet

rainbow season . . .
warmth and coldness
in me

bluer  than
