a worm and hook plop

the playful kitten
   gazes deep into fish pond -
   koi watch and wait

Fumbling teenagers,
Lips working like hungry Koi,
You call that kissing?

koi swim in the pond
riot of color swirling
a day at the zoo

Languid summer day
Cloud afloat on garden pond
Silent Heron waits.

Ripples replace cloud
Water drips from Heron beak
Koi swim unaware.

longest sunny days 
shimmering rainbow koi pond
garden fresh basil

Sun on still waters—
Then a sudden splash of gold
Vanishing below.

in a peaceful place
    ripples fan out on lily pond -
    colourful koi play

koi not to be caught
fisher breathed a sullen sigh
pond veiled in lilies

pond glints in the hot sun ……
informed awareness many
koi fish in herons tum

Koi Pond
Tranquil garden dream;
orange fish surface to catch food,
trickling waters.

koi pond
is empty now
full otter

koi swim in the pond
riot of color swirling
a day at the zoo

Garden pond, Koi play
cats paw strokes water surface
fish respond, wave back

Claw needed to heal
A brownish snapping turtle
Ate up Momma’s koi

whitened winds blow                                                                                               drunk Koi swim under ice                                                                                        icicles dripping

waves clap the shoreline -

floating sprawled 

one green frog
