A winter forest
Frosted leaves lay heaped around
Hedgehog sleeps within

dogs bark - -
a hedgehog curls up
into a ball

a bonfire smokes - -
a tiny hedgehog wakes
and scuttles out

baby hedgehog save
my cat was batting... beating
a grandson rescue

A family of 5, 4 plus mum. My cat was giving the one in the image a rough time and was rescued by my grandson. Happy to say it was not harmed.

watch leaves

Hedgehog strategy
Caught in the headlights, poor thing
Just curled

hoping winter's done
snow thawed... hark... the crocus sighed
a hedgehog peeking

~~~~~~~~~~

heat blankets the earth
	simple self-preservation ~
		prickly hedgehog ball

hedgehog hibernates
snuggled under leaf blanket
snowflakes gently fall
