Under the trees 
Dwarfing the trees

Moving gracefully,
He is smooth and elegant 
Oh what a giraffe.

hungry lion pride give chase ~
kicks out and escapes

visitors flood park
                                            capture giraffe in marshland
                                                      looking down at them

peering out over

the tree on whose leaves he chews . . .

Just like Burj Khalifa to
Grab food from above

gnarly squirrels nest
too high for a tall giraffe
shelters one baby

horse in stable laugh
even the cow and her calf
giraffe took half bow

little hands reach out
young giraffe is just hungry
zookeeper panics

little hands petting
zookeeper hands son lettuce
all three are happy
