 Dragonfly, shiny
Windup toy, in flight, you dance
Among the cattails.

the gravel path
glitters with sunlight-- 
dragonfly wings

dragonfly darts past
sun shimmers rainbows on wings
brief ripple on pond

lands on my shoulder
dainty faerie dragonfly
brings spirit message

lovely dragonfly

Dragonfly whispers on air,
Nature's jewel shines bright.

The dragonfly hovers 
motionless in the purple
band of the rainbow.

lotus flower blooms
showa koi search old pond
pollywogs scatter

pulsing dragonfly
above shadowed frog on pad

In the pond, a dragonfly is teaching small fishes surfing
On the bank, my thought is attempting to Knit a net 
To catch them

wings of gossamer  
gently pulsating the air
butterflies in flight


tail of dragonfly
skimming the water's surface
while taking a drink


bark of an old tree
weather-beaten and furrowed
a home for insects

Dragonfly hovers			
Jewel flash, diving, darting	
In an instant, gone.

The dragonfly dreams,
Of the butterfly’s beauty; 
Dreams of painted wings.

The broken wings of
an emperor dragonfly.
Surprise feast for ants.

Fallen from his dreams
reached realities, 
now working harder.

with shattered love life, 
she took human services, 
many lives salvaged.

A dragonfly rides
on a lily's leaf, waiting
for the fish to twitch

iridescent wings
hover over garden pond
cool zephyr breeze blows

                                           Blackbird swoop down stealthily__
                                                  Death on SUMMER day

dragonfly dazzles

           in pond's reflections;

           lily pads bloom

On stained glass dragonfly wings:

look .. a dragonfly passing by 

willow at the lake .. i hear 

you cry / new sunrise

small raindrops ripples 
bullfrogs sing a cappella 
dragonfly flits by

                            on a gently swaying reed
                               an egret watching

A red dragonfly
Seated on my stretched right hand,
It was good omen!

dragonfly orchids

soft knarled petals, fragile bones

blooms open and close.

clouds dark and heavy
sit on the oak studded hills
frogs croak in the pond

spring rain falls teasing
lacy blue patches open
dragonfly settles

sun shines on puddle
faint rainbow arcs in distance
old bucket rusting

mother of colors

in dark yellow dawn
or purple pansy dusk robed
in butterfly swarms

mother by blue lakes
in a green fascinator
with dragonfly queen

oh mother of song
fresh from saffron southern skies
moonlight's in your hair

An aerial acrobat; speed
On the wing, unmatched
