of eastern cottonwood-
happy offspring

tree flowering
in the sun-
beaver waits patiently

moon shines
upon her coral blossoms-
cricket chirps

Fiji eve, afire ...

palms blow kisses to the moon -

jealous coral sky

low tide

dawn's golden shimmer reveals

a coral reef

Neon Enchantment.
Salt water universes.
Living coral reefs.

~   temple of coral...

                    parrotfish weave sun columns -

                                        the dance... prismatic   ~

~cuttlefish create
floating parades of visions
along coral reefs.~

Vibrant coral reefs,
Blossom all over the sea:
Flowers of the deep.

Marine Colonies,

Fortification of reefs:

Aquatic kingdom.

Sunlight feathers dance
through sparkling sequined arms
amusing the Blue

unbelievable
coral gentle persuasive  
boat ripples on waves

beyond the bright reef

as sky loses its coral . . .

coral snakes
come up
to
the surface
to 
breathe the sweet air
weaving their basket
what
bundle of love
extraordinaire 
only
one change to pair
then mate
while
pausing to pray

"How Many Syllables"

the warmth is spreading
green leaves budding everywhere
reliving rebirth

the skies are true blue
the deep colors are coming
snowdrops in the snow

baby robins peep
in the coral hope of dawn
as breezes beckon

sunsets more intense
and hearts beat more rapidly
in a sea of green

awesome blue coral
transparent translations warm
shallow stream ocean

everybody works
coral dawn to ruby sun
season to season

creativity
expressing all hopes and dreams
of a blooming world

nine to five caring
with all your heart hanging out
to nurture loved ones

it makes the stars shine
and bluebirds sing on a loop
and colors our lives

orange sun has gone
yet still she sleeps in the blooms
at purple twilight

the day has grown old
and where have the bluebirds gone
a pause for sweet dreams

the day's excitement
coral dawn through frenzied noon
caused a vanishing

Free birds  all chirping
      routine coral rehearsal
      flock of birds party

Scientists feel sad, 
as the island's coral reefs 
rapidly vanish.
