White Swan on Green Lake
Your Beauty, did not Forsake
At First Seen Snowflake

mothers forever
                                  love their children as own souls
                                          that no other can

 charcoal eyes arranged
snowflake smiles fill the day
winter's warm hello

From side to side they
Sway; beneath them these children
Play...Beauty of green

great blue heron stood
in flint river statuesque....
children hooped, threw rocks  

penny licorice 
kids speaking 
in black tongues

Rights to care and health
 Ebola - child is orphan
 A safe hand to hold 

 Long dark eyelashes
 Protect my little angel 
 God will make a way

Playground games;
Children gambol
in the sun.

Very hot season
Vacation time for children 
Time to take a swim

The devil trembles
Feeling the autumn wind's rage
Children eat candy


Red mask covers eyes
Blind to first fall carnival
Her pockets picked clean


Nevermore  lovers
Halloween murders-blood found
Quote the black raven

Black smoke covers all
children animals run
but they can't escape

On his knee proposed,

The mother in her was moved,

Future is assured!

Hidden world lurking below
Children stare at poles

When  I was a child,
Afraid of my strict parents.
Now? Afraid ’f children!

Sun and sand and beach
Life has some lessons for me
Be all  you can be!

Sad conversations
May healing come to you soon
And children be safe!

For all you have done
And wherever you may be
May you rest in peace!

Toilet paper wraps;
Costs less to dress as mummy,
Mom thinks it’s funny!

a worm and hook plop
orange koi gather around
like nosy neighbors

old river flows hushed
