I have heard it said
Rugby players eat their dead
Tastes just like chicken

As child Shake 'N Bake
later on Kentucky fried
chicken bird of choice

She hires a lion
As a bodyguard

what's that smell?
it's coming from
the house next
door, hamburgers
hot dogs, chicken
on the grill.

come on already
long line of hungry people
waiting for their meal

evening spreads on
fried chicken of KFC
everlasting poke

bacon eggs biscuit 
chicken cheese pineapple yum
vegetable pork soup

she builds better butterfly's from the dust on rusting pipes
they fly in the starry sky while i cry
in a panic she paints them into a panoramic
but butterfly's recognize their own limited size
so they build their own chicken coop in my soup

a fowl smell tonight
and we turned accusative
huge chicken farms

Dedicated to all the chicken 
farms along the interstates.

chicken flavored rice
goes good with potato rolls
melted with butter!

My body whispers; four days
No chicken; swelling be gone
Healing on its way

attempt to avoid
the quick option of the host
the rubber chicken

The smell of pumpkin in the air
The nice, fresh breeze 
the leaves falling from the trees
the children playing outside
people praying on the fall
and you know it is fall
And when the chicken roasted
but I am poor
and can't be bought

hot dogs plumply burnt
juicy hamburgers with cheese
Italian chicken

a side of coleslaw
potato salad and more
gooey iced brownie

I saw this on the news today. I lived my first two years in Buffalo, New York. I have many relatives there.

grown men gather ‘round
blue cheese in blue swimming pool -
bob for chicken wings

cough and fever form
holiday is spent in bed
 cancelled family time

chicken noodle soup
stopping dehydration now
spoon to mouth feeding

how is the weather there
are you comfortable there?
you had a hard life

shivering in cold
later being cooked in oil
and to my stomach

i love you so much
thank you for your existence 
i love you chicken

bring me chicken soup
in a neighborhood kettle -
ladle out comfort

 my feathers only allow;
 me to walk and run

what am I a bird?
 look out duck run for cover;
 what’s my luck in this?

am I animal?
 could be vegetable or fish;
