bee pollinates blooms
hummingbird nips at nectar
     flurry of wee wings

orange on a tree
sweetly tempts a honey bee. . . .
he leaves her hanging

humble bumble bee
brings pollen from apple tree
to make his honey

he feeds his loved queen
to protect her he gets mean
his stings aren’t funny

a hive is his home
he fills it with honeycomb
for love not money

Honey Bee combs plants
Blackberry and wild clover
We all get a buzz

bee sting
swells his nose
he's still snapping

perched on the branch
tree lizard puffs up its chest
like a balloon

dancing in the dark
fireflies paint lines of light 
in exquisite designs

a buzzing bee
the sleeping dog awakens
then bolts from the room

out of the blue

the honey bee

sings with delight

Honey bee lies dead— 
Cargo pants with pollen stuffed
—
Mission incomplete

Immersed in a cup
Of scarlet and orange flames
He sips sweet nectar.

The Carpenter Bee
Bores blithely and busily
Wood dust discovered

Fertilizing rhymes,
Buzzing couplets in the Spring:
Pollinated verse.

Honey bee music.
Blossoms into rhapsody.
Treble and buzz cleft!

Lavenders aroma calls
The humble bumble,
Honey awaits all.

NATURE SPEAKS(satirical Haiku)

The wind blows heavy
The branches of trees dancing
Baboon is thrown out.

The Bird  is singing
Butterflies feed on  nectar
Chameleon  dormant.

The bee is buzzing
flame of the forest blossoms
....And the lion king dies.

coffee break -
persistent bee
demands a sip

Pollination bee
Tasty flower for the soul
Fragrance at its best

bumble bee buzzes
bird high aloft in the sky,
blue green glass separates me.

The bee flies above
The sweet flowers
Swoops down for nectar

Cherry blossoms call,
beckon nature's majesty--
and the humble bee.

Bee lands on dogs  nose,
Live and just fly Mr B.....
Eyes cross in alarm

Life is a circle

freeway traffic
many honking horns
Geese yaking

the busy bee
drilling a hole in
my window sill

sleeping with one
ear tuned to a babes voice
the new mother

a hushed quiet
the ball trails to the net
and finds it's mark

another record falls
