Unbearable sun
Ant granaries set hoarding 
Beach-side, a haven

Scorching July heat
Camel's skin and fat melted 
Yet your love intact

worker ants meet 'pon
path touchy, feely each one...
greet each other~leave

chemical exchange 
'twix ants sends correct signal...
moves on with parcel

huge chunks carried high
larger than a single ant..
powerful insect  

learning to fly
                           both the ant
                           and my sandwich

patches of yellow
where the grass used to be green . . .
new blooms in the shade

under the bushes
abounding with red roses . . .
a black ant pile crawls

Wisely avoiding
The large holes built by the bees
The ant continues

How deep is this hole
From which the brown ant peeks out
while others go in

bright winter morning
a tiny, awesome ant runs
on the sand castle

but wait just can’t be
just how is it possible
It’s wintertime now

how are they alive
how it’s 28 degrees 
outside winter morn

  tender buds begin to wake
ant through the garden.

rooting the wood pile
blowing the bonfire to life
fire ant panic attack

dance in summer song
grasshopper mingled in green 
jealous ants in queue

not the banyan trees
dried twigs hold the dragonflies
often carefully

few fallen feathers
form firm foundations for Finch's
fantastic furrow

a leaf on waters
becomes great lifebuoy
for a drowning ant

uplifting my garden
ant inches over

A quick succession
Lone ant on my grape
Exact in my spoon.

Hi wake up ant
face this pole
your soulmate food.

Ant hill swarms with ants.
Rain is on the horizon. 
Ants soon disappear.

ant and spider went
to a dance the spider was
just ALL but 8 feet

tipsy toe tap tap
dancing on concrete and grass
waltz, minuet dance
