lands on my shoulder
dainty faerie dragonfly
brings spirit message

a rainbow catfish
jumps clean out of the water
showing her fierceness

in awe we polka
our milkweed pod sonata
dazzling the pond

hollands masterpiece
a field of pink tulips
pella iowa

midsummer's  easy
dragonflies
children free from cares

a brethren of bards
starry pens nights of romance
write with the owls nod

fairy couple beaming 
queen anne's lace wedding gown
tiny woodland bells

cool backlit clouds
moving rapidly in gray
share winters secrets

if owls were as wise
as our wyandotte indians
how would we approach

1. A gnat under blue
    days will next spin on apples 
    Look! More frogs arrived 

2.  The terrible tree
     Covers my house. That summer 
     I counted wagons 


3.  The frog above red 
     Songs will soon remember you
     Winter dreams with ducks

Long bushy tail, eats

bamboos and bugs, a loner,

sleeps days, up at night

lovingly helping others
handed down softly

Angels and faeries
protecting and loving us
while we all slumber

mermaids secret stash
her iridescent buttons
mother of pearl

apples in autumn
reminds me of cinnamon
i can taste her pie

1. The bear above green
    Leaves should now race voices 
    Look! You're lifting bears 

2.  A terrible clock 
     Inspires my sleep: Next evening 
     I gathered fences

             Virtual teacher on screen
             One sign of our times

shrieking laughter

My soul breathes the earth
Eyes see the light in the trees
My heart brims with joy

The lovely lilacs

so fragrant and beautiful

uplifting to all

illuminating
irreplaceable
untouched- the moon.

a giant tortoise
living to be one hundred
galapagos beast

Lavendar like smells, 
A soothing warm bath water
Pajamas and yawn

weird desert swirl
warning of approaching storm
a wolf howls murder

verdant ferns waving
showing off their frothy leaves
glorifying god

a butterfly fish
winged fins and colorful too
dazzling the tropics

windy in kansas
hornets nest under my foot
precarious prey

The dainty rose stood

proud of her tight thorns

fragrance in garden

atlantic turtle
amazing avid watchers
swimming the front stroke
