Happy Birthday Bard
Relaxed sun today
painting the clouds with pleasure
It’s Tagore's birthday
From the red pink and
Crimson passion on faces
looks on the tall Bard
In my black and white
dust have come some handsome grass
Welcome Bard welcome
The wind in my room
Hums Tagore's songs in the chime
Our eyes meet in rhyme
Normally angry
Sun sprinkling colours today
Tagore looks lovely
He has taught us how
to weave the hues of grief and
joy in our poems
He has shown us how
To set off blue and red birds
from our chest in space
We in summer rain
from our blue quest of those birds
beautify our sky
Oranges today
In passionate expansion
Happy birthday Bard
