Was in the park, enjoying being with my little charge as we played together. Several other little children joined us, laughing and having fun in our make-believe game. Where were the parents or carers? Sat texting or on social media missing out on the magic of their children, totally unaware of the fun we were having. This haiku is genius Kaaviya.

Thank you. I hope this could make a difference in the indifferent attitude that some parents display towards their children.

Wow! I worked for a while at an afterschool program. I hated when parents picked up their kids with a phone still attached to their ear.

Absolutely! Certainly it would be better if parents dedicate more time for their children who long for their affection, at least their attention.
