**My wedding day**
my finest moment
washed away with white satin
nightmare from heaven

**Bleeding Love**
dreams never revealed
swimming in a pool of blood
dark clouds forever

**Eclipse with tears**
Dark Crystal Lightning
blue skies, deep watercolors
over the rainbow

**Gods Punishment**
useless way of life
40 days and 40 nights
grave yard promises

haiku and questionku contest

love is in the air
clouds like billowing hearts...
lightening hits target

noise of loud thunder
drowning out all reasoning....
body answers call

loves seed planted
well watered will grow....
Is wedding ring needed?

Marry Me

Bright sun and gray clouds
stormy waters and calm seas
nature's yin and yang

Trees slowly grow tall
their bands show the whole journey
nature's wedding ring

Be my strong side
and I will be yours,
Will you marry me?

Autumn Spider

Blind Arachne spins
A veil of shimmering white
For her wedding feast

Eating alfresco A beautiful autumn day Feel we could touch clouds. Tartan blanket spread Food consumed, leisurely ease Taste a gentle kiss Last sight of summer Leaves are slowly turning gold Nature's wedding band. Slight smell of autumn Through rays of late summer sun A benediction. Musical notes sound Waterfall draped with green moss Listening with pleasure.

Wedding Visitors

visitors arrive
during Chicago’s snow storm—
warm fire inside

the Florida-boy
wearing short sleeves and jeans—
snow angels

mother and father
shouting, “Wear your jacket”—

ice on the front steps
beneath foot long icicles—

the oldest son
cooking jambalaya—
guests inhale deeply

the step-mother
staring outside from upstairs—
snow drifts

children and sleigh bells
laughing as they speed down hill—
sudden stop

The New Orleans Saints
playing on her wedding day—
Cajuns watch

the wedding party
lining up for their entrance—
the Saints won

Categories: introspectionmen,

the witch and the prince

the old witch, wicked?
had yet to be determined
lured five brave men to

her wedding bed and
five less brave men down the isle
of divorcewas it

the long scar down her
crooked nose, wiry long hair
streaming off of the

dark mole on her snarled
lower lip? Was it her huge
hips, nasty morn breath?

we will never know
for now she has found her bliss
the prince placed the kiss

love's priceless treasures

Lover #1
love's priceless treasures
floats free in river of time
frost kills emotions

my eyes speak volumes
shimmer and glimmer like stars
dark velvet soft nights
wait gently for wedding bells
as frost melts into bright spring

Rites of passage
Chinese wedding protocol;
Traditional rules apply

Listen to the wind
Late night howling;
Pregnant with heavy rain

Last bus zooms away
Deserted street empty;
Lost hope in late hours

Reason makes no sense
Bustling local haunt bankrupt;
Despite brisk business

Lost in the vast mall
Seek location map;
Stop for directions

Rainy nightfall
Croaking frogs;
Cicada orchestra

Simple strides profound
Write some lines;
Juxtapose verse motive

Someone calls
My name in a crowd;
Unfamiliar echoes

Sunflower’s sweet life
Rain drops, wind blows, and sun shines
It waits the daylight!
Rain drops such desire
Wind blows it – to live with light
It loves the sunlight!
It waits the moonbeams
And bells ring on wedding day
It’s sunflower’s day!
