Messy dog kisses: 
Most likely are full of germs, 
But make me happy.

We share a bond
You rejected bird hunting 
I rejected war

Dreary winter days.
Warm house, full dish, fresh litter.
We are happy cats.

a razzmatazz sheen
the feel of silken softness -
petting ebony

you settle near me
small paws wrapped around my hand. . . 
your lullaby purr

my happiness
when you nuzzle me. . .
can I be your catnip?

Fluffy little ball
You have so much energy
And bring me great joy

Piddles when not walked!

the cat acts crazy,
because it read your mind
think like a flower

striking chartreuse eyes
   my true companion has these...

children parents  pets 
noise in and around the house
lovely  atmosphere

Bunnies are furry
Chickens covered with feathers
But both can be pets

.



                                              The sentinel cats
                                     Guard post tip top of the house
                                            Growing winter coats

the look of innocence
hides a deadly secret
kitten's gentle purr

feline for hire
mouse at it again
cutting the cheese

Chihuahua Princess
a Mexican breed..
 French kisser

Belle's head laying beside mine.
Time has come too rest.

My red fat dachshund
Independent smart
Intelligent dog

My sweet dog grandhound
Visits me daily
Constantly brings smiles

Dancing Disney tail;
A graceful Siamese cat
Must get attention.

Walked her in the woods,
And on beaches; then crying,
We put her to sleep.

sneaky black cat on
the back of the couch likes to
lick oil from my  hair

dog breaks wind in sleep

awakens and sniffs the air

then bolts from the room

Trusting eyes opaque

Endless unconditional love

Aging confusion heartbreak

Eternal best friend

tank filled with green crud
on the bottom like a spud…
goldfish was a dud

Laps up cool water
Lifts up head
Get off the toilet!

wobbly legs misstep
toddler tumbles to the floor
screaming with fright

playful puppy
spinning round and round
trying to catch its tail

dog sniffing the grass
searching for the perfect spot
to have a poop

Tobacco resists,
The temptation in Berber,
Flurry angels fly.

a leap of great faith
time to hit the water pool
fetching is for me
