Marry Me

Bright sun and gray clouds
stormy waters and calm seas
nature's yin and yang

Trees slowly grow tall
their bands show the whole journey
nature's wedding ring

Be my strong side
and I will be yours,
Will you marry me?

Haiku 68 Above The Sakura Tree ,Another Spring

cherry blossoms drift upon the wooden casket life after life
In memory of our dear souper friend Lucilla Carillo,and my husband's cousin David Chircop who finished this journey ,to start a better one. May your fragrance of love bloom in the highest of skies as it did on earth. 'Pls remember them,and their loved ones in prayer'.

Haiku Collection: three

1.
The sun has fallen
Behind pacific rim;now
Pastels stream the sky.
2.
The winter solstice-
And harvests long since past the
Noon-time of my life.
3.
Frost on the pumpkin-
His face waxing sad for the
Warmer days gone by.
4.
Beyond this fence line
The valley goes on for miles
Then arcs to the hill.
5.
You are more than love;
You are more than the earth's beauty-
You Are Forever!
6.
A trellis full of
Morning glories sparkling in
The newborn sunrise.
7.
I should call the stars
To halo all the beauty
Of your lovely face.
8.
Will a sonnet do?
If so,then you're a sonnet
Written in the wind
            |
Fly to every shore
And linger there a while,that
Other's might read you.
9.
Shrouded in the mists
Of a time I used to know,
Lay the love of you.
10.
This sun bright morning,
The hills are dotted with cows
Of many colors.
11.
Sleepy eyes, roll on;
Take your rest beneath the pines
Locked away in dreams.
12.
I contemplate you~
Your long hair blowing wildly
At the meadow's edge.
13.
Trees, trees and more trees-
Everywhere I look, I see
Trees, trees and more trees.
14.
In favor of the
Flavor of the red apple(?);
Fruitless taste of time.
15.
Minutes 'til the time
When we will journey onward
To the garden gate.
16.
Let's ride the windy
Night until the dark is gone,
And we find the dawn.
17.
Soft,the drippling light,
Melting like a candle's wax
All along our path.

Ev'ry day is déjà vu
When my love's adrift

The state line divides my heart
So where lies my home?

Working out

- Breaking Habits
A journey begins,
Over the bridge from the South...
It is not to late.

- Pain
Such exquisite pain,
Wanting, there is no pity...
In the depths of hell.

- Brother in arms
Fraternal embrace,
Each one is for the other...
For the love of life.

- Lessons learned
Old remedies told,
Lubricating body and mind...
True strength from within.

ON AN EXCURSION

                                            on an excursion
                                     students are seen glorious
                                      their auras speak dreams

                                        few have no complain
                                    at the time of taking seats
                                            few do politics

                                     whistling train moves on
                                       talking many to other
                                         few reserve silence

                                         in all their coaches
                                  few are busy with own games
                                       few sing and few clap

                                        faces are tired now
                                      as stamina is finished

CHINA HIATUS

(Note: I am going on a journey to Yunnan, China
from May 18 to 28 -- to explore the wonders there.
My poetry posting will resume when I come back.)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This tour trip
Special iterinary;
Yunnan beckons
Journey into
Mysterious realms;
Places in time
China gateway
Manifold possibilities;
Fragrant surprises
Here we go again,
My sweetheart and I;
Cheer enters sweetly
Spring time
Old China moments;
Modern settings
Lovely momento
Fleeting scenes;
Formal entrance
Wonder awaits
Our wandering;
China expose
As we leave
For the airport;
Thoughts of home
This hiatus
From ordinary days;
So much to pack
Hiatus like escape
Forfeits daily routines;
Holiday diversion toil
Hiatus from posting
No online e-poetry;
Just words on paper
On the road tour
Good writes will come;
Ink stains on parchment
Till then my friends
"Thank youBe wellGod bless."
More poetry 11 days forth!
Silk Air flight
Sunday wee hours;
Off we go then
Ivor's Haiku
Aching
aching deep within
reaching out beyond the veil
never forgotten
All Aboard
body and soul combine
for the ride of a lifetime –
no return tickets
Am I me
I think I am me
I think, therefore, I am me
I am me I think
Astral Womb
astral absorption
blends life continually -
soul's evolution
Bloodless Bond
born not of Mother
parent of necessity
destiny fulfilled
Coming up Trumps
sharing true friendship
noisily expelling gas
no inhibitions
Conception
blending of spirits
natures nectar decanted
life's vessel refilled
Deep Silence
deep silence roars out -
in straining to catch whispers
no one can hear it
Destiny
deep thunder rumbling
silence envelopes the land
destiny draws near
Empty Noise
dry branches snapping
summer glory now faded
still tries to impress
Eternal Moments
past, future, present
moments form eternity
time stays forever
Eternity Beckons
body discarded
spirit struggling upwards -
too late to grow wings
Eternity
union of birth
individualism
union of death
Free Spirit
thundering of hoofs
freedom’s stampede of delight -
spirit unbroken
Insight
foggy perception
clarity of direction
avenues open
Night Fright
cloud creeps across moon
night whispers it's mysteries
concealed in darkness
Pendulum of Life
living in boredom
soul screams for activity
turmoil requires rest
Pendulum’s Swing
regularity
exist in cloud cuckoo land
life's pendulum swings
Pendulum’s Ride
enjoy all the ups
enjoy the extremities
enjoy all the downs
Post Mortem
Going through the veil -
Once life’s journey is a tale
Did your faith prevail
Self Pity
beyond human sight
loved ones find eternal joy
why does my soul ache
Time for Time
life's pathways beckon
moments joined into ages
cloaked by time's mantle
Time’s Call
friends not forgotten
re-union approaches
time's pathway beckons
True Vision
though vision is clear
perception can be blinded –
truth is in the soul
Senyru:
Perception
perception
is reality
apparent
Poets Write
poets write
spilling blood as ink
makes one think
CONDOLENCE BOOK
Loss fills the air
As people queue;
Death can speak
~~~~~~~~~

A common thread
Links us in gloom;
Mindful faces

~~~~~~~~~
Dry humid March
National mourning;
Heavy hearts
~~~~~~~~~

Gratitude speaks
Multi-racial tones;
Heat wave trials

~~~~~~~~~
Gun carriage cortège
Last journey route;
Crowds salute
~~~~~~~~~

Heavy rains fall
People brave downpour;
Final goodbyes

~~~~~~~~~
Public affection
Never seen before;
Singaporean grief
~~~~~~~~~

Six days of heatwave
Hellish hot and humid;
Seventh day torrent

~~~~~~~~~
What a great loss
A Singapore icon;
Stuff of legends
~~~~~~~~~

Old and young
All races here;
Braving the rain

~~~~~~~~~
Sea of faces
Shouting your name;
Astounding legacy
~~~~~~~~~

Mood of the moment
Loss feeds the strain;
Sky oozes tears

~~~~~~~~~
You cried for us in '65,
2015 we cry for you;
History shows
~~~~~~~~~

Huge debt owed
Our hearts know that;
Rainy salute squares

~~~~~~~~~
See the flags
The heartlands wave;
Broken hearts wail
~~~~~~~~~

History will write
We will remember;
Lasting legacy

~~~~~~~~~
Two names stand out:
Lee Kuan Yew lived
For Singapore
~~~~~~~~~

A people mourn,
In your passing;
We gel as one

~~~~~~~~~
Rest now in sure peace
Your work is done;
Singapore prospers
~~~~~~~~~

Sign a few words
Condolence Book filled;
Gratitude uplifts

~~~~~~~~~
THE CITY WHICH IS INSIDE YOU
You live in your own inner city, which you bought in a
silent auction.
You were again unable to cancel your debts.
Under your blackening eyelids you try to feel certain
things.
Without noticing your withdrawal from self, you leave for
distant parts
by using your ropes of thought like a ski-lift.
Your shudders increase as you touch the numberless elements.
In your screams at the moment when you feel the jolts
from the echoes
of your words crossing the threshold of your thought,
you send birds fleeing before youAs you breathe, your
roses wither.
In your moments of madness, crystals fall from your roof.
As your field of thought shrinks, your city expandsYou
exhaust yourself
from running down the streets and avenues.
As the lamps of your voltage machines alight upon your
nights,
your humans robotize themselves.
The toads in your dirty waters frighten even the crocodiles.
Your inner journey makes you grow older.
Your internal cries amplify themselves.
You manifest difficulties with forty paws.
The auxiliary cells of your laboratories do not give you
the opportunity to live any pleasurable moments.
While the fear indicator inside you slackens you through
and through, you
have not
even the possibility of speakingWith each movement of
the clock,
the seasons rip themselves out of your heart.
Your solitude traverses your spirit without cease.
Life Runner
Life Runner
Life the kite,
The kite in sturdy wind
Of life game to win.
Wind of life,
The kite runner calls for
To fly high and soar.
More games of gripping,
And loosing line
To soothe the endless –often uneasy– journey
To strongly live the game.
Haiku Trail
Cherished memories
are the reminiscent source
of future daydreams.
Friends disperse, forget.
They’ll become strangers to me,
once I’ve said goodbye.
Adventure awaits:
the dawn of a new era’s
almost upon me.
Realising my dreams
and achieving my targets -
my life is on track.
Facing the unknown:
daunting and mysterious.
I conceal my fears.
I try to picture
my destination, prior
to my arrival.
Now its time to leave.
Ending, ended, over, gone:
my journey completes.
PALETTE
Awake to see
Arise to change;
Awareness comes
Pathway winding
Ups and downs declare;
Possibilities
Dream a dream
Focus and see;
Moments of magic
Sunlight spreads
A moving palette;
Magnificent colours
Morning exercise
In rain and shine;
Tai Chi artistry
Pizza delivery
Dominos attends;
Party of four here
Arc of movement
Subtle kaleidoscope;
Happy flinging joy
Early rising moots
Drowsy awareness;
Sleepy connections
Birdsong prayer
For good feasting;
Three chicks to feed
Morning repast
Instant milk with coffee;
Food supplements extra
Just the other day
Old friend died;
Kind chat from beyond
As youth surrenders
Old age brings insights:
Wise old bones aching
With passing years
I learn to discern:
Talk without words
Simple economy
Spend when necessary;
Purge all vanity
A touching moment
Hero's journey ends;
Inevitable death descends
Time for goodbye
Fare you well my friend;
Let all things go
Birth's crying arrival
Lifelong struggle;
Exit with crying departure
God has a great sense
Of humour -- you see
He made man
Little by little
Becomes a plot;
Empty seems a lot
Listlessness
Missing wind-up key
lethargic symphony
doll missing its dream
How do I break out
of this maddening nightmare
my unfulfillment
Branches in the road
which path leads to my passions
Fairy-tale Journey
Life's uncertainty
energy deficiency
path blocked before me
Where am I going?
fog encases around me
Possibilities
Manifestations
the apparitions discuss
the game of my fears
Fighting listlessness
penetrating light calling
to keep on going
