Hold Fast My Heart

 He baptized my heart with Holy water,
   Rivers pure and clean.
He has set my feet upon the rock,
 With a measure of faith in things unseen.

Like the hands of moses lifted high,
 I will call upon him, he will hear my cry.
If I should stumble, he will break the fall,
 his arms are stretched to reach us all.

I love you Jesus from my heart,
 because you loved me first.
You meet my every need,
 and quench my every thirst!

Hold fast my heart to the one
 who gave his life for me,
Rejoice because he has loosed the chains,
 and set this captive free!

Merry Christmas

Mild sun of winter
Spreads a love touch everywhere
Of happy Christmas

In the slum a child
Smiles in a red hibiscus
Petals of Jesus

Blankets offered to
Poor people standing in rows
Jesus in rainbow

In the hospital
Life smiles in bruise blood and pus
Footfalls of Jesus

Upon the sweet grass
Jesus smiles in drops of dew
Lovely Christmas hue

In Christmas flavour
To all poetry soupers
A merry Christmas

The Last Seven Plagues

       The Last Seven Plagues

those who bore 'the mark'
screamed from painful ugly sores
First of the Last Plagues

the sea turned to blood
and everything in it died
Second of Last Plagues

the rivers and springs
became blood--no more water
Third of the Last Plagues

the sun had power
burning people with fire
Fourth of the Last Plagues

kingdom of 'the beast'
was plunged into vast darkness
Fifth of the Last Plagues

       STILL--people cursed God
       and they refused to--REPENT
       global armies formed

the great Euphrates'
water dried up--transit road
Sixth of the Last Plagues

       world economic
       devastation, suicides
       lootings and killings

       stench of dead bodies
       cities on fire--engulfed
       chaos, fear, riots

the sun became darkened
the moon gave no light--all dark
stars fell from the sky

huge exploding holes
in the darkness as they fell
hundreds all at once

       army of 'the beast'
       horizon to horizon
       Plain of Megiddo

clouds blanket the sky
painful peals of thunder roll
gold weaves through the clouds

hundred pound hailstones
fell on unrepentant man
cars, homes, land destroyed

most severe earthquake
islands diappeared--Earth FLAT
splits Jerusalem

then voice from Heaven
"It is done"--is heard by all
Last of the Last Plagues

       wait at Magiddo
       the Son of Man--Returns
       on white horse, in clouds

       blood runs two hundred
       feet wide/long and five feet deep
       bodies explode at

       the sound of The Word
       spoken from the King of Kings
       one-sided battle

anti-christ and false
prophet thrown in lake of fire
beast chained--thrown in pit...

thousand years in pit
(Jesus rules Kingdom on Earth)
then, loosed for a time

there is still HOPE
Know Jesus loves you and died
for your sins--REPENT...

A Christian Haiku

A Christian Haiku

What I do wonder
Is why God sin has allowed
Again and again.

Was it to prove point?
It is either us of God
Without Him is sin.

What God meant to me
Is for us to obey Him
Which we all should do.

Who is my savior?
It is Jesus Christ of course
And there is no doubt.

Lives are worth living
Which is why God is giving
Us chance to do it.

Should have a haiku
As great guide to save our soul
And this is the one.

Am glad you did read
This haiku I have written
On my very own.

Was very simple
What God Himself did intend
And again Son send.

Heaven will return
Leaving world with sin behind
This was meant to be.

Or beautiful art?

No Lossers Are Left and More Poems

No Lossers Are Left

No losers are left;
Seems like Trump has found them all;
Exist on his staff.

Jim Horn

How is that for a Horn Haiku for you
to read through like all poets would
want to do?

President was not wise and persistent;
In trouble and he had been consistent;
As we fear,
Pain in rear;
Leave White House this very instant.

Jim Horn

Jesus guided by power of the spirit came,
To Galilee were people would see His fame;
Then by the entire area they did perceive,
And in Him they soon started to believe.

Being honored by all in synagogue taught;
In ecstasy those around him were caught;
Listening and trying to hear his beckon call;
Yet to some of those there this did appall.

Returned to Nazareth where he was born,
On clear day when it was an early morn;
From heaven and His Father is now freed;
Stood up in synagogue and began to read.

Book of Isaiah Jesus began on that page,
Where His mind would began to engage;
Where it was written He found the place;
They saw the glow that was on His face.

Upon me, the spirit of the Lord shall be;
He will began to preach and start to see,
Brokenhearted is who He came to heal,
And many poor left alone without a meal.

Those who have been bruised must liberate,
From pain and can again begin to celebrate,
And to the blind do give sight to their delight;
No longer live in deep darkness of the night.

Folded book read over and it then closed,
And peace to all is what He had proposed;
On Him He would find fastened their eyes;
Holy Spirit had by Him they all would realize.

Was much Jesus had meant for them to hear;
Scripture is fulfilled this day in your each ear,
And by Him all of them had been reassured;
By Me the miserable and lame may be cured.

Jim Horn

I feel like God has given me a gift;
Up from their depths people will lift;
Listen must;
Him trust,
And direction should start to shift.

Really astounding what they are blurbing
And this to us has been quite disturbing;
When it did rain;
Hit window pane;
So we should control it and be curbing.

Was inevitable when seeing ammunition,
That with weapons had put on exhibition,
Do not need;
Should impede,
And with sadness could require contrition

Orchestrate Way to Find Freight

What we should do is to orchestrate,
Way so we can find all of the freight,
Off all had fallen,
And were balling,
Before being lost forever and too late.

Analogous With An Anonymous Hippopotamus

We arrived at what had been analogous,
With another animal already anonymous;

Happened to be humorous hippopotamus.
