Wind Horse

Wind Horse ©

running free, wild, brave
tail streaming high in the wind
hoof pounding the earth

horses turn their haunch
to show their scorn for the storm
and nature’s tantrum

allows man to think
he can command elegance
and tame the wild heart

Out past fading smoke the smell of saddle-leather lone horse by campfire - - - by the campfire cowboys share haunted tales leaves rustle in moon's shadow - - - the tapping of boots on creaking woodfloor line-dancing - - - coffee beans'scent from the musty log cabin Cowboys 'return

You

You make me happy, you
make me laugh, you help
me make sense of this crazy world,
What would I do without you?
I don't want to lose you, I want you
to be there for me always.
I want you to be happy
with what you do in life,
just know that I am right beside you
trough it all, I will always be there,
I will never forget you, you shine
so bright, it's hard to miss you.
You have a great personality,
The one every girl wants.
The one everyone wants to be
friends with, the one who stands
out of them all, that person
is you, My Hubby till the end,
the awesome one, the amazing one, the wild and crazy one,
the funny one, the charming one, the prince
charming riding up on his horse to tell me
"Everything will be fine my princess"

Three Humorous Senryu

If winter landscape
Had snow that was black as coal
It would still be cold

If sunlight was green
Shining on crimson nature
It would still be hot

If rain was yellow
Running like horse piss in streets
It would still be wet

A Horde of Haiku

A Horde of Haiku

A horde of Haiku
Is what will be found when you
Read all of mine through.

What if embittered
And all your patience is lost
It could be costly.

Leaves are on branches
Cattle exist on ranches
Are there some to spare?

(Can questions be part of haiku?)

Books do have pages
And price may be outrageous
So check out instead.

(Library credo.)

How long will you wait?
For me to originate
What I contemplate.

So if it was you
Who was first to contemplate
How long should I wait?

For Frost to appear
His horse thinks that it is queer
No farmhouse is near.

Think it was last year
Catastrophe I did fear
And now it is here.

Forgot to turn in
My book I checked out again
Patience wearing thin.

A book here and there
All over and everywhere
Looks like library.

A Horde of Haiku Hiding in a Library.

How the Deputy got Sunder loaded

Four hooves at the ready
one-eyed tall snorting
he one chewed cigar puffing
left on the rope
right wrapped round horse ear
eye to eye staring down
the trailer at once prize and prison
pawing the air no more
carried by an ear into darkness
Old Smoky the victor again
Sunder was loaded.

Bee on Hibiscus
Proved to be promiscuous
Did dart in and out.

A fair assumption
After all his consumption
She is his honey.

Both were quite a pair
Nothing like a horse and mare
Who chores both will share.

Is one of them you?
Who makes all my dreams come true
Vote for sure must do.

Whoa Horse Whoa

Whoa Horse Whoa

Before I do expire
Hope you will read entire
Pile of all my poems.

When we say whoa horse whoa
Down we expect him to slow
On us Trump does grow.

What we had agreed
Is Trump came here to impede
Even those in need.

He is horrendous
Doing things so stupendous
And is quite a priss.

Trump should slow down and
re-evaluate himself which like
Sessions we know is completely
impossibleWhen you live a whole
life being a loser, you will continue
to ba a loserHow are you supposed
to change horses in the middle of
the stream? Dream on my friend
dream on.

Horse Haiku for Hummingbird

Horse Haiku for Hummingbird

Saw her here and there;
Then was seen everywhere;
Horse had been my mare.

To me pure delight;
Loved her with all of my might;
Thrilled to her each sight.

Want her nice and near;
My horse is no longer here;
To me was so dear.

Still see her mane shine;
Now is memory of mine,
Under restless pine.

Understand that a friend
