umbrella graveyard broken spines, dead in the street hurricane hits hard We are currently in the grips of the aftermath of hurricane Ophelia - there has been some damage on our little Island but so far everyone is safe although there have been several fatalities in Ireland where the storm seems to be centered:-( 10/16/17

We have just had storm Brian over the last few days, it is VERY unusual for us to get weather like this I can't remember when we have had storms so close together:-( Our little Island got battered but wasn't too badly affected but in Ireland 3 people lost their lives:-( hugs jan xx

We get umbrella graveyards in Malta, Jan, but nothing compared to yours! I have been following the Isle of Man weather reports; glad that you are not as badly effected as originally feared. Hope you're keeping safe and cosy:) Hugs // paul

They have just put sandbags in one village that may flood - they have been building a harbour defensive wall... but its behind schedule! The worst damage so far is with fallen trees and damage to roofs of houses but of course more will be visible in the cold light of day:-) hugs Jan xx
