I look at this from a different angle than the one you explained to Agnes. Remove the Grenville towers and the poem delivers a certain greatness. I prefer my take

I'm sure that people all over the world have experienced this kind of tension. That's one of the best things about poetry. People read it from their own viewpoint. Once you've written it people can make of it what they will, and do. Thanks for the read, Jannie, all the best.

Hi Gail, I understand this well written poem, I keep saying to myself why it takes a disaster to get our leaders to do the right thing, things that should have been done in the first place, £ before safety disgusting.

There is a fine line between justice and revenge, wouldn't you agree, Gail. Justice to one, is murder to another. Death does not bring the dead back to life, nor does money. I do like the poem:)

Thank you for the read, Daniel. Justice is a dish best served chilled, and fire is, mostly, best not fought with fire. Kind regards to you.

I like your poem, Gail - few words that carry a lot of meaning and can be interpreted in many different ways. I assume this is about the Grenfell Towers fire? Forgive me if I am misinterpreting.

Thanks, Agnes. Yes, it's about Grenfell Tower, and the atmosphere in our cities this summer. I'm glad I live in the country. Best wishes.
